A new year, a new vow…

 

Today is the first day of Chinese New Year, a new beginning of the year.  Every year, during Chinese New Year eve, I usually spent time in monastery to do repentance, repent for all wrong doing caused by body, speech and mind, to remind myself not to repeat again and to move on my life. Most important, to make a new vow and start anew! How precious to let go all burden and start our life again in total freedom and ease.

Some of us, we love to carry our burden for life and refuse to let go and move on. Why are we make ourselves in suffering? How great to let go and enjoy freedom in life!

To usher the Chinese New Year, this is the first year, Sis & I be a volunteer in monastery, It’s so precious that we get a chance to serve others and also to see many happy faces during the 1st day of CNY. What a meaningful way to start a year with gratitude and also a great opportunity to be volunteer! We are truly happy and blessed which we are sharing positivity vibes. Most of the times, when we get together with relatives and friends, we love to chat about, “The old memories” or even sharing about gossip on others. All this topic will never bring nutrient to our mind and others too. As such, always remind yourself to bring “nutrient” to others life. Treasure times of gathering! When it’s gone, it’s gone for life.

We are happy to see people making positive wishes or vows either for happiness of themselves or to others or to all beings. How important to share positive wishes and never look down on all this little positive effort! This can make a difference! Like a spark of fire can also burn a forest! Be positive, and shine your positivity to your surrounding!

Changes must come from you first and never put any expectation to others!
