Are you the minority?

Living in this material world, we love to compare and compete with others especially to own more material stuffs like branded bag, watches, shoes, jewellery and others. Besides, we also love to compete with others on how many property we own in life, how luxuries is our house renovation, how much saving in our bank, how great is our car and others. Most of the time, we pay attention to external and rarely give priority to inner development.

Hardly I heard people compete with others on, “How healthy is your mind?” “How fit is your body?”, “How cheerful and happy are you?”…..

Today, I read a meaningful quote, ” Life is the most difficult exam. Many people fail because they try to copy others, not realising that everyone has a different question paper.”  It’s so profound!

You can always look inward instead of follow majority people to look outward, constantly compete and compare with others. The more you are chasing for material wealth and constantly  look outward, the less peaceful, less smile and less freedom in your life. Well, you might not realise as your mind is full of the thought of “Chasing material wealth.”

Sit back, relax and be silent, you know what do you need in life? Not to worry, if you are the minority, have faith and keep walking! The more you let go, the more happiness you are enjoying!

Beautiful photo, A little grasshopper loves chilli so much...When your mind is full of thoughts, you are not able to look at the world clearly.

  1. i notice that people also compete on trying to achieve a better lifestyle, like on minimalism. they ask: how many items do i own? instead of what do i really need in my life? what brings me joy? what do i use every day?

looking inward is always the answer. thank you so much for this article. ❤
