In order to stop Little Black’s habit as a collector, we’ve started to quarantine him at night. However, he can adapt himself well as he is fully aware that we are not going to release him at night. He is going to lost freedom. He changed his timing to do his collectors job. Yesterday, he brought home another leisure shoe and a children slipper.
Currently, we are not scold him when he brought home anything, we just ignore him and not going to acknowledge his action. Hopefully, he can transform soon.
This morning, My sister observed Little Black’s movement closely at our backyard garden. She followed him and noticed that he went to house No. 2 for some time and then he ran across the road to house No. 3. She suspected the collections might from this 2 houses. After breakfast, we went to our neighbour house and checked with them whether the slippers and shoe are belong to them.
Our neighbour also smiled back and said a big thank you that we returned back the “Puma” Sport shoes which belong to his daughter. We mentioned to him on what had happened and apologise on Little Black’s action. We are glad that our neighbour can accept and forgive our cat’s misbehave.
We pressed the door bell for another house, a little girl opened the door and we asked, “Is the Garfield slipper belong to you?” She said, “Yes with a big smile and immediately open the gate and take back both slippers which belong to them. How happy is the little girl to take back her lost items. We are truly happy as we’ve returned all “Collection” to their owner. Hopefully, Little Black is not going to bring home anything.
What a great lesson that we’ve learned, we must never take anything which is not belong to us. Our action will bring suffering and unhappiness to others life. We must be honest, then only we can live at ease and peace of mind.
