Some of us, we always ask others, “Do you love me?” “Prove your love to me.”
We love to seek others acknowledgement for our existence.
We always love to associate and link with external factors for our happiness.
Think about it, before you ask others whether they love you, why not ask yourself, “Do you love yourself?”
Do you understand yourself? Do you know what do you want in life?
A simple question about yourself, “Do you know how many times is your heartbeat per minute?” “Do you know how many times is your breath per minutes? Do you know what type of food is good for your body? What is the best nutrient to your mind?
We might assume that pamper and indulge ourselves with best food which can satisfy our senses is the best way to love ourselves. We hardly pay attention to what type of food is good, we just focus on good flavouring, perhaps a lot of sauces, like pepper, chili, spices, salt, sugar, msg, artificial flavouring and others. We are totally forget the authentic taste of food as our senses are numb by all artificial flavouring. Why not love yourself by taking organic food which can give you the original taste of food?
We love to associate love ourselves with buying a lot of external stuffs, like luxury handbag, expensive clothes, branded watches and jewellers, luxury house, car and others material stuffs. We are getting use of short-term happiness from the external stuffs and the cycle will keep repeating by buying and buying. In order to support our purchasing power, we might need to work extra hard and neglect quality time to be with ourselves and also taking good diet to sustain good health. We are deteriorating our body and mind in order to gain material wealth.
Why not start to love yourself by spending quality and quiet time with yourself?
Ask yourself, “What is the purpose of life?”
