I love to spend time to gardening during weekend. It’s great to checkout each plant, to trim and to upkeep the cleanliness in the little front garden. I feel happy after clean and tidy up the garden. To me, it’s just like mind purification, to throw away all rubbish, let go all burden and start anew.
Usually, I’ll nourish the plants with the soaking water from organic beans, cleaning water from organic brown rice and also reuse the water after washing vegetables. We can practice to save water by little effort.
Some of the people might think that to practice meditation only by sitting, to practice mindfulness and enjoy the peacefulness, the best place is monastery. Why not practicing meditation throughout your daily life, during walking, gardening, cooking, standing,writing and any moment of your life? Why not enjoy peacefulness, lightness, freedom in any moment of your life? Don’t limit yourself by visiting to monastery only. Let’s continue your practice in your daily life in anytime and any moment.

When you are able to upkeep your place in good order, you are not only bringing unconditional happiness to yourself but to all beings. People can feel the peacefulness, lightness when they walk in to your little garden. How wonderful!
