Always look for the root of problem…

When I woke up about 5:30 am this morning, Usually I’ll open window in our entrance before proceed to cooking. I heard insect singing happy tune plus unusual sound like water flowing heavily. I am sure there is something happen. Immediately, I on lights at my front gate, took torch-light and went out to check what was happening. I saw water leaking outside frontyard. First thing I did was, I went to check the water meter whether its running or not. The water meter is stilled, and I checked both of my neighbour, on right and left, no running on water meter. Definitely, the leaking is due to outside piping.

From the symptom, I thought the leaking from my house.

From the symptom, the water was rushing out, I thought the pipe leaking from my house.

I know I can’t do much except calling the water department to droopy to fix the issue. So, I just went in my house and continue my cooking in peace and calm. I am mindful in my cooking without being disturbed by the unpredicted incident. This is a great practice that to live at now and not to be influenced by anything. Most important, don’t act as a movie director, to keep thinking what is happening next, how worst the situation going to be and others. Whatever you think might not happen at all! Live at now, the wiser move!

I am still manage to cook a nice and nutritious breakfast for my family.

After I made a call to the water department and the contractor dropby quite fast to diagnose and fix the situation.

My guess was wrong, the main pipe leaking was in front of my neighbour house. I respect all this specialist, they know where is the root of problem.

Imagine if I spend my whole morning to worry about what is going next and how worst the situation can be, it’s totally waste of energy. I am glad I am doing my mindful cooking.

The contractor shared with me that if the problem not solve, it’s going to be serious matter and the whole area might sink. Based on the symptom we checked this morning, there is only minor water leaking from my neighbour house. That’s why we suspected the pipe leaking might from my house. My neighbour also never expect its from his house, so he never make any report. The great lesson learned is never make judgement based on our assumption and perception.

Wow! It's severe.
