Happy Wesak day!

This morning, I celebrated Wesak day by contributing my little effort to be volunteer in monastery. I am touched whenever I saw parent brought their children and also elderly parent to monastery to pay respect to our great teacher, Buddha. More amazing that children can sit quietly for about 3 hours until the total ceremony ending. Today, I saw an elderly uncle on wheel chair, always coughing, can’t talk, walk and also managed himself. His children brought him to the monastery and even he was sick, he still insist to attend the full ceremony. What a great spirit!

As every year routine, Sis & I will give support to the Wesak day float procession. We were indulged ourselves in the positive, happiness, peace and calm. We are grateful to our great master for sharing the beautiful lessons and show us the beautiful path. So, we can walk the path together with faith.

May the water purify your mind and body!

May the water purify your mind and body! We take bath often to clean our body and how often you cleanse your mind?

We learn the great lesson from our teacher, the peacefulness and calm. "I want nothing!"

You can't do it without strong faith and you need team support! Let's walk together in our beautiful path!

One of the beautiful I learned tonight, we must be open minded and accept other's way of practice. There are so many difference sec in Buddhism, and all from the teaching of our great master. Whatever suitable for you, might not be the same as others.

“As a lotus flower is born in water, grows in water and rises out of water to stand above it unsoiled, so I, born in the world, raised in the world, having overcome the world, live unsoiled by the world.” By Buddha

To all my Buddhist friends, “Happy Wesak day”, may your wisdom life grow!
