stability in life…

We enjoyed very much to observe how playful was Miss Mimi in our garden.

She is so alive, extremely mindful on her cat walk and she did her best to stable herself in the structure. There is so much we can learn from her.

Look at our lovely Miss Mimi, She can stable herself well at the structure.

Are you unshakeable when you are facing challenges in life?

Are you stable enough when you are facing criticism, accusation, blame, discrimination and other negative emotion from others?

Some of us, we might think that we are truly progress in our spiritual path as unwholesome thoughts are no longer arisen, we can stay well and peace almost all the time. It might be true when we don’t face any challenges. However, the best way to know how progress is your spiritual practice when you are facing challenges. Are you being pull out from your peace, calm and serenity? You know the best!

I heard an interesting story, Once upon a time, A wealthy man, who are diligent in spiritual path and he wanted to make a big donation to a zen master in monastery. He brought a lot of gold bar to the zen master and the zen master never say a note of thank you. The wealthy man and also people surrounding him were unhappy, as why the zen master never say thank you for kind virtues. The Zen master mentioned, “You already enjoyed good merit by your donation. Why do you still insist to get a note of thank you?”

The wealthy enlightened with the zen master’s answer.

Perhaps, some of us also might expect a thank you from others when we are giving donation, helping others. If people never express their gratitude, we might feel slight “unhappy”.

As such, be mindful on your thoughts, aware on all thoughts arisen and cease.

How mindful and alert was Miss Mimi!

How mindful and alert was Miss Mimi! Let’s be mindful in any moment of life. You are going to suffer less and enjoy more happiness.
