Stillness…

You can see clearly on the reflection when the water is “still”. It’s apply the same to our mind, when you are in “stillness”, you can see the truth! Don’t be  Slave to your “greediness”.

We are easily being tricked by our greediness. Some of us when we look at “Sales”, “Big Discount”, “Count down sales”, “free gift”, “free voucher”,  we might rush to get items that we don’t need yet we wanted so much to buy as “cheap” and “saving”.

We are assuming that we get the greatest benefit out of the sales items.

Today, one of my colleague shared with me that a branded table lamp is on “sales”, initial price is USD$120 and now only USD $50, she asked me “Why not go and grab the sales?”

I shared with her, “My heart will not move no matter how much discount is given if I don’t need the items, it might be “Wastage”. Why not shift slightly on our thinking? We are actually “Saving” if we don’t buy unnecessary items.” Look at the case of the slashing price of branded table lamp, if I take the offer, I need to pay USD$50. Am I actually saving USD$70 from original price?

The answer obviously is “NO” as I don’t the item and I need to take out my money to pay USD$50 in the name of cost saving.

Think about it, is it considered “cheap” if you get something you totally don’t need? Don’t be fool by your emotional to get something in the name of “sales” or “cheap”!

Always take a deep breath, Ask yourself, “Whether is the item, your need or your want or totally unnecessary?”

You know the best answer and take a wise decision.

You don’t need to own more to be happy. The less you own in life, the More you are enjoying freedom and happiness.
