Our family is truly happy to see the recovery of our lovely cat, Little Black.
How great to see our lovely cat slept in peace and calm!
From the photo, you might think that the place is safe for Little Black to enjoy sound sleep. In reality, it’s not. This was the new place he discovered during his quarantine at home.

He was actually slept on top of our air well, more than 18 feets… It’s so risky if he fall down yet Little Black is not aware on the consequences…
This incident made me realized that many of us are not aware we are in danger zone, we are keen on saying, “impermanence of life”. However, most of us apply the impermanence of life to others and they never associate it with themselves. We might think natural disaster, accident, war, sudden death only happen to others and we can escape ourselves. Yet, this is not the truth. Do spend time to contemplate impermanence of life which might happen to you.
Furthermore, the way we are “Damaging” and “Destroying” mother of earth to satisfy our want. We put ourselves and next generation in danger zone, we are causing air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, toxin in ocean, deforestation, extinction of animals, non-stop of taking rare minerals….Imagine, one day, we might need to pay high cost to get a sip of clean water and fresh air.
Always remember that
We are going to die immediately without breathing, the fresh air is from nature.
We are going to die from thirsty, the fresh water from nature too.
We are going to die from hunger, the food from nature too.
Whatever we want, we need to get the raw ingredients from nature… The more you want, the more you are speeding up the exhaustion of raw ingredients…
Are you leaving behind anything for other beings?
Do ask yourself before you are buying anything, your need or your want?
Don’t put yourself and other beings in danger for our accumulative action.
Take action now to preserve our mother of earth.
The choice is in your hand!
We are so glad that he is doing better. 🙂 Cats can’t fly… so he better be careful!
Yup, we do our best to close the windows so he can’t jump to our air well. Cheers!
I am so happy to see that your cat is healing up well. Great points about impermanence. I just wanted to add that the Buddha’s last words remind us about the impermanence of all things. This was so important he made sure to stress it even at the end of his life.
