“When I wake up in the morning, the best moment is to have a walk in the garden with our lovely little black.  It’s so refreshing to spend precious time in green and give so much happiness, joy and positivity to start a brand new day.

There is always new discovery of new friends in garden and also realization of great lesson in life through the mindful walking. Our mind is so peaceful and calm, its great time to do contemplation in life.

New leaves, so alive.. It's like telling us to start anew in every single day...

New leaves, so alive! It’s like telling us to start anew in every single day…..

I remembered one of the profound teaching from Ajahn Brahm on the walking meditation, when you step out right leg, you said: “I’ll die”, then left leg, “That’s for sure” Think about it, if you keep contemplate about this simple sentences… “I’ll die, that’s for sure.” You are going to face life in easy way, to enjoy freedom and most important to let go “I”, “My”, “mine” and  all the cravings on greed… You are going to enjoy happy life be at here and now! Don’t tie yourself with the invisible string about past and future, until you can’t breath. Liberate!!! You need nothing to be happy! You are joy!

How many living beings are live in the small leaves?

How many living beings are live in the small leaves?

Before you make any decision to chop any tree, think about how many living beings are depend on the tree for their shelter and food… How many living beings you are going to harm by your action? Even though, they are small in size yet they are alive, they are fearful of death just like you and me.

This morning, I read the news on the “The world’s largest animal sacrifice has begun in Nepal” even so much efforts by animal rights activist to end the practice. Take a few deep breath and close your eyes, imagine if you are one of the animals going to kill in this ceremony.

How do you feel?

When you see your family and friends being killed brutally one by one, how fearful, stress, sorrow, tension, helpless you are?

When your body being chopped, blood shed, how painful to die gradually?

Are you dying peacefully or in great pain and agony?

Why are we as a human causing tremendous pain to our animal friend’s?

Who are we?

As an intelligent human being, we are full of loving kindness and compassion, our purpose of life is to bring happiness to others and definitely not created FEAR AND SUFFERING to others. We are more happy when we see smiling faces and not the helpless crying and yelling for help…

Start a new day with the new contemplation…

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” By Buddha

Let’s us make a vow to awakening the seeds of loving-kindness and compassion within ourselves and also to help others to wake up.

May all beings live in peace and harmony!

  1. I researched the animal sacrifice and was so disgusted and shocked to find out the incredible amount if innocents that will be slaughtered in the name of religion, so very sad. To read that 250,000 animals were murdered 5 years ago just broke my heart.
May their pain be short and their spirits freed quickly 😦
