Recently, when we are driving to work in the morning, we saw a wandering little monkey nearby our residential area.
He look so tiny and alone, always sit beside the roadside, next to the trees.
Imagine if you are the little monkey, how do you feel when you are living alone? No friends, no family members? He might even facing challenges in finding food as in the name of development, some of the trees in our area being cleared and chopped down.
To us, it might be less greenery, lack of clean air, lack of space, however to the little monkey, he lost everything in life, no habitat, no shelter, no food and all his friends and family gone…perhaps they go to other area and accidentally left him behind.
Think about it, are you causing over development happen? Do you actually need so many houses in life? How much space do you need to sleep? Do you need to keep shopping and also eating? As such, you can see the shopping mall is growing like mushroom after the rain.
Be moderate and live harmony with nature.
Next time, before you give your “Shh..” to our animal friends, chase them out or beaten them, think about it, who are the one causing them lost everything in life and force to live in concrete forest? Don’t harm them even though you don’t want to help them.
We are so compassion on him and the best we can help him is to offer banana to him every morning when we are on the way to work.
After 1 week plus, it became a routine. The little monkey is waiting for my sister for banana every morning. He is so aware on the timing even without wearing watches.
Today is off day. We decided to take a walk to bring banana to the little monkey. We are unsure whether he is there to wait for us.
We are really touched as he was actually waiting for us, for his breakfast. We just put the banana and mangoes, then we walked away.
The little monkey only came down to pick up his favorite food once we walked away.
We are glad for his action as he know how to protect himself from people especially those with unwholesome thoughts.
Alway see others in you, then you can offer your help and kindness unconditionally!
It’s so great, so joyful, extremely happy that we can help!
