What do you want?

Are you peace and calm when you look at the beautiful scenery? The more material stuffs you cling on to. the more disturbance in life. You are the master of your destiny!

Do you love to do a lot of shopping during your travel?

Do you love to spend a lot time in shopping during your journey?

During my recent trip, some of our team members love to do shopping.

Wherever we went, their focus was on shopping, to continue to buy souvenirs for themselves and also others.

Most of the time, their hands were full of shopping bag and yet they might forget how can they bring back the stuffs home. Their luggage was increased day by day, and also heavier day by day.

They were willing  to let go the precious moment with the beautiful scenery and also most important to be here and now.

It was so inconvenience when we were boarding, some of our members need to pay additional fees in order to bring the luggage home.

It’s a great lesson to learn, always ask yourself, “Do you need so much in life?” “Are you actually buying what you need or what you want?”

Always go back to the basic teaching, we are learning to let go things, to live in simplicity, the less we want, the more peaceful we are.

The best example is when you are continuously carrying your baggage, how do you feel? Tiredness? Stress? Tension? disturb?

How do you feel when you let go your luggage?

Relieve? peaceful? Relax? freedom? Calm?

What do you want in your life?

The choices are in your hand!

You know the best!

  1. These are such powerful words, and a metaphor for living.
Why do we carry so much baggage and souvenirs of the past? We have so many wonderful moments right in front of us and still so often we hold on to old memories.
And like the airlines do, life gives us extra charges for all that extra stuff.
Better to travel light – lightened, enlightened.
Better to let it go, and enjoy the moments.
Thank you for your inspiring words.
