things you can’t control…

“The greatest impurity is ignorance. Free yourself from it. Be pure.” By Buddha

Every morning, Little White, our lovely cat love to hang out and look for a place to sleep outside the house. This is his normal routine.

One of the mornings, it rain non-stop, Little White can’t get out from house, and he was so restless and look at the rain impatiently. He looked slightly angry and expressed in a loud “meow”, seem like saying, “Why raining so long? I can’t get out from house. I want to go out.” and we try to comfort him by proposing to him to sleep at home instead of go out. Our proposal was not accepted, and he even climbed up to our grille to release his frustration.

When I look at the behavior of Little White, he shown us clearly on how ignorant he is, he can’t accept things which are out of his control. He became frustrated and slight anger in the raining day yet he can’t control or stop the rain.

Think about it! Some of us, we might do the same thing like Little White without our realization.

When the weather is too cold or too hot, we might do the same, keep complain on our discomfort and bring unhappiness in life.

When we stuck in heavy traffic, we might get angry and start to grumble, to blame; do you think you are able to change the situation by reacting in such a negative way?

When we stuck in raining or snowing and disturb our plan or schedule, are you able to move your schedule or you starting to release your frustration?

How many times we might do the same thing again and again without realization? We are arousing all negative emotion for things beyond our control.

Is it worth it to stress yourself?

Why not behave in peace and calm for things beyond our control?

You can’t control external but you’ve a choice to transform internally!

Love it. Happiness or suffering are our options, we can choose to have either. Once we see beyond suffering then we have made the choice to be happy. And once you are happy, this feeling is reflected to us by the people around us.

    Thanks for a wonderful post
