Do you spend time to chat with your parent?
If you are working and stay with your parent, most probably you might see them in the morning and evening.
If you are working and not to stay with your parent, most probably you can see your parent during weekend or long holiday.
Imagine, how lonely they are.
Every night, I’ll do my best to spend time to talk to my parent.
We are glad to have our 2 little Bodhisattva cats at home to accompany our parent while we are working.
Little black, the little kitten brought back by Little White, he is with us since young, we train him to be indoor cat.
Everyday, when we are home, mum will definitely share with us on what is happening to the lovely cat boys. We are treating them like our family members.
Few days ago, mum shared with us that when she was doing something at the dining table, suddenly Little Black kiss her at her neck. She was so touched on how loving was her little boy.
I am truly amazed that a little cat know how to repay kindness and show love to my mum, who took care of him for more than 5 months when he was extremely sick, the fungal infection.
Little black very seldom to use his voice, he maintain silence most of the time, whenever, we talk to him, he will move his little black tail to show to us that he can fully understand on what we are saying…
Little Black is our little teacher, who teach us to apply unconditional love to all living beings, there is no barrier in language, skin color, race, religion, form, gender, country….We are the same, inhale the same air, enjoying the same sunlight, moon light, the rain water, snow, live dependent in this lovely planet and called this lovely planet as “home”.
When you treat all living beings like your family members, brothers and sisters,
Do you think you are going to harm them?
Do you think you are going to bring suffering and pain to their life?
Do you think you are going to bring fear, stress, tension, worry to other’s life?
For sure you are not going to do that, you are going to protect, to love, to bring happiness to all living beings.
Contemplate about it. Once you’ve a clear understanding, you are going to let go your meat-eating habit as you are aware this action actually causing “death” to other living beings. They are just like you and me, our family members!
Besides, saving life of others, you are actually guarding yourself from doing the unwholesome action, to reduce your desire on satisfy your senses.
This is the great move for self benefit and benefit others. Seeing you in others!
“The source of love is deep in us and we can help others realize a lot of happiness. One word, one action, one thought can reduce another person’s suffering and bring that person joy.”
