favoritism…

A family is a place where minds come in contact with one another. If these minds love one another the home will be as beautiful as a flower garden. But if these minds get out of harmony with one another it is like a storm that plays havoc with the garden. By Buddha

Do you have children or pets?

How do you treat them?

Do you practice equal love or favoritism?

In life, some of the parent still practice “ favoritism” in treating their children.

They will pamper their favorite child, they’ll give everything to their favorite child.

Some even practice favoritism based on gender, they will give extra love, all their assets to their son only.

I heard that a granny even give difference amount in “ang pau, red packet” to her grandson and granddaughter.

Obviously, Grandson will receive more monetary.

How’s the feeling of granddaughter?

Because of a “She”, she deserve “Less”?

Why we need to difference our love?

All are our children! They deserve equal love!

What is the consequences of practicing favoritism?

“If you judge people, you’ve no time to love them.”

By Mother Teresa

It’ll created unhappy family, it’ll continue to cultivate jealousy, hatred, low morale, self-doubt instead of unconditional love.

It’ll be a chain effect. How much negative energy can be spread by an unhappy person?

Why not,  bring happiness to others by practicing equal and unconditional love.

Make a vow today,

“Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”

By Mother Teresa

  1. Sometimes children are favored compared to their relatives because of their better behaviors – maybe it’s a way of discouraging smoking or laziness or any kind of bad long-term behavior
