In life, can you remember
How many meal that you’ve taken?
How many clothes that you’ve bought?
How many pairs of shoes that you’ve?
How many movie that you’ve watched?
How many books that you’ve read?
How many places that you’ve visited?
How many people who you’ve met?
Even with your powerful memory, you might not remember everything or every details and you might not remember the happiness and joy.
However, if you are practice kind virtues to others, you can smile and feel the happiness and joy even after a long period of time.
No matter how expensive or luxury of your lunch or dinner, you might forget but if you share your food with others who are in hunger, you might remember the smiles of satisfaction of people you are offering help.
I remember a story that a boy took down his window curtain to a beggar in a winter day as the beggar was shivering in cold. His mum was scolded him, he gave his answer to his mum: “What is more important to keep people warm instead of just hanging the curtain there for beautify the house.” Do spend time to contemplate about it.
Always get ready your helping hand, appreciate the opportunities that you can offer help and expect nothing as return.
Experience joy and happiness which you can’t get from material wealth!
We work on ourselves in order to help others, but also we help others in order to work on ourselves.
