How do you feel? Good food or Dead body? It's all up to deep in your heart, whether you want to continue your meat eating habit

How do you feel? Good food or Dead body?  “Who is killing the fish?” It’s all up to deep in your heart, whether you want to continue your meat-eating habit or you want to take a stop. The choice is YOURS!

Have you ever visited wet market?

For some of us, we might love “Freshness”in meat, so, we’ll go to market, pointed to the particular of chicken and ask the vendor to slaughter it.

Some might even ask the vendor to kill the fish or frog on the spot…. to enjoy the “Fresh” meat, not the frozen meat.

Have you ever visited live seafood restaurant?

Some of us might spend some time to select the live seafood, then ask the restaurant to cook it, of course “kill”it.

During the process of selection, what we see, we sense, we smell…. Only “GOOD FOOD!” “Yummy FOOD!”

We are very much focus on how to satisfy our sensual desire, to enjoy the fresh meat with different cooking style.

Think deeply, we are totally ignore that our action cause suffering  and pain to other animals. We might also forgot they are “Living”, they are having the same color of blood like you and me.

All animals are fear to death, they wanted so much to have “Freedom” and a chance to live happily and harmony.

Perhaps you might chew your food more than 25 times, majority of people chew less than that, then you swallow your food through your  3 inches of throat, how long is the “HAPPY” moment?

Think about it!

To satisfy our short pleasure moment, in actual fact we are taking life of other animal friends.

Some of us, might even take action and try very hard, but just can’t get rid of meat-eating habit. I read a paragraph in the book of “The Heart is Noble” by The Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, “One solution is to put yourself in the cage where animals are held before slaughter. Spend some time there. If you like chicken, spend time in chicken coop. If you like pork, spend time in a sty, if only in your imagination. See how it feels, then DECIDE.”

“To my mind , the life of a lamb is no less precious than that of a human being. The more helpless the creature, the more it is entitled to protection by man from the cruelty of man.”
