the lesson of love…

Recently, Our family spent a lot of times to take care of Little Black, the little kitten who infected from fungal.

We treat him like our family members and we take turn to take care of him.

Look at the open wound, it's almost 70% heal… The worst, it was bleeding with a big hole in the middle of nose...

Look at the open wound, (middle, top left and top right) it’s almost 70% heal… The worst, it was bleeding with a big hole in the middle of nose…

Every morning, Mum will feed him the vitamins with medicine, apply the anti-fungal lotion to his wound and to clean him….

Do you able to do treatment on wound?

Are you able to overcome your fear?

It’s a big challenge if you can’t see blood and handle the open wound.

From Little Black’s illness, it make us to further understand that “Great Love Overcome all FEAR.”

When you see suffering in others and you want to do your best to give happiness and relieve their suffering. You will be able to overcome your FEAR and let go all your worry to help…

Besides, once you see others in sick, you can feel the pain too.

You’ll do beyond your capability to help!

Little Black is recovering now, about 70% of his wound is heal…

Little Black, our little teacher to teach us on the lesson of "Sickness"...

Little Black, our little teacher to teach us on the lesson of “Sickness”…

He shown us his great spirit to endure the discomfort, pain and suffering.

He accepted his e-collar, he adapted himself for it, he still can play happily with wearing the e-collar.

Even though, his little nose is in a bad condition, he only make little noise when we apply the anti-fungal lotion.

He also shown us his living spirit, which he continue eating his food and drink. He want to live and overcome his illness.

One of most challenge issue, we are facing as fungal will be contagious especially his lovely brother, Little White.

We need to do segregation, to reduce the risk of infection to Little White.

Every time, when Little black see his brother, he will run to him. We need to stop him and continuously share with Little White, Why he can’t play with his little brother.

It’s not an easy task.

It reminded us when you serve others in sick, you must be in patience and love.

Love is the capacity to take care, to protect, to nourish. If you are not capable of generatng that kind of energy toward yourself- if you are not capable of taking care of yourself, of nourishing yourself, of protecting yourself- it is very difficult to take care of another person. In the Buddhist teaching, it’s clear that to love oneself is the foundation of the love of other people. Love is a practice. Love is truly a practice.

  1. I wish the best recover for Little Black and that both kittens can play together soon again! Very nice post 🙂 Best wishes for you and your family too.

  2. I’m glad you are taking care of him and he will thank you for it. No creature deserves to be left in pain, we are all connected and life is sacred

  3. I often wish I could love others (and myself) as softly and unconditionally as I am able to love my cats. It IS a practice. So, aren’t we lucky to have these little teachers?
