Future?

Are you worry about your life after retirement?

Some of my friends talked to me that “They are so concern  and worry about life after retirement…”

“They need to accumulative “Wealth” to get ready for the retirement. As such. they need to work harder in order to achieve such goal.”

“They might even invest in high risk investment, so they can get high return.. Once there is any economy turmoil, they are living in anxiety, so worry about losing all their investment. They are not enjoying peaceful life now”

“Some of them, they wanted so much to maintain a good lifestyle after retirement. As such, they work so hard until they forgot that “They are living now”.

“Some even breach their principles, precepts or belief, in order to get MORE wealth, e.g. greedy, bribery, personal interest, selfish, self centre,  …….

“Some of them, keep buying property with the intention to accumulative wealth, they treat this as “security” for future. They totally forgot that this is a “BURDEN” in life, the more burden you carry, the less smile on your face. Think about it.

Is it worth that we put so much effort about “FUTURE” which is unknown and  let go on living at this moment of life.  Do you need so much in life? Ask yourself?

Some of us, we assume that “life is permanence” and “it’ll happen as per our planning.”

Is it truth?

One of my friend, Li Yi, she shared some great photos during her visit to Angkor Wat.

Nature is always our great teacher.

What do you think? All wealth, glory, fame is gone.. Life is impermanence!

What do you think? All wealth, glory, fame is gone.. Life is impermanence! Live at now!

Is it worth for you to grasp all desire for a tomorrow which is uncertainty? Why not live at now?

The more you let go, the more freedom you are enjoying. Be moderate in your life.

Most important, Live at now!

Life can be found only in the present moment. The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life.

  1. Depends in part on what one intends to do in “retirement.”
Me? It’s a time to get to the Real Work, which includes seeing the novels published and singing in a chorus, rather than traveling around the world or indulging in lavish dinners out and the like.

  2. When people plan for the future it is generally filled with fear …fear that you may not be comfortable in old age, fear that you may not have enough money.
Live in the moment, there is no happiness found in fear.
