loving kindness

Sis & I, got ready for our morning walk.

To our surprise, our lovely cat, Little White was waiting at the front gate. He wanted to follow us too.

Little White is following us once we were out at home for a walk… So lovely!

Little White is following us once we were out for a walk… So lovely! He is more and more intelligent…

Whenever we move forward, he followed. To care for his safety, we detour to our little garden at backyard instead of continue our morning walk.

How do you feel if you can’t follow your schedule? Are you angry? Are your emotional being disturbed?

This is a great moment to check on our practice.

I am totally fine, still in peace, not being disturbed by change plan.

It’s great to contemplate:

Everything changes, nothing remains without change.

By Buddha

I  took a walk in our little garden while my sister was playing with Little White.

Besides that, When I walked around our little garden, Check out some other beings…

Check out the lovely Ladybird in between the male flower from sweet corn… We never plant the sweet corn in the garden, it's a gift from nature… Our gratitude!

A great day to start to practice Loving Kindness to all beings.

I would like to share with you the sutra on loving kindness, the Buddha says:

” As a mother would risk her life

to protect her child, her only child,

Even so should one cultivate a limitless heart,

with regard to all beings.

With good will for the entire cosmos,

cultivate a limitless heart:

Above, below or all around,

unobstructed, without enmity or hate,

whether standing or walking,

sitting, or lying down,

As long as one is alert,

One should be resolved on this mindfulness.

(METTA SUTTA, from the SUTTA NIPATA 1:8)

May all beings be Well and Happy!

  1. I love cats! They always ground me and remind me how wonderful life is. I was stuck on the train this morning and had a chance to practice staying in the moment and letting things be as they may. You have a wonderful blog. Thank you! Peace and blessings. : )
