Borobudur…..2

How joyful and relaxing if we can breathe in the fresh and clean air in early morning!

We woke up so early to join the sunrise tour in Borobudur.

It was amazing!

We left our hotel at 4:30 am to witness the beauty of sunrise.

The air was cool and fresh, it was so quiet, peaceful and serenity.

I spent some time to do meditation. It was so blessed!

Let’s take a morning walk in Borobudur…..

We can see a slight sunlight break through the darkness. It's similar to our life, there is alway light out there. Life is full of hopes...

Look at the craftsmanship, it was truly beautiful. Eventhough, it's not many steps of staircase, however, the height of each staircase is uneven, you must be mindfulness when you walk up to the temple. Imagine, How much hardwork and passion our ancestor put up to build this magnificent temple!

The beautiful sunrise… It's great to look at the sunrise & sunset, it's a great reminder on impermanence of life! Everything will pass even the most beautiful scenery in the world!

Some of my friends asked why can't see any crowd in all photos? The reason was we joined the sunrise and sunset tour, we can enter the temple earlier or leave later than the normal operation hour. (6 am- 5pm) Look at the crowd, it never stop….

After completion the 2nd renovation with assistance from UNESCO, Borobudur temple is expected to last for another 1,000 years. Whether this can be achieved, it all depend on you and me, how we are going to preserve the world heritage during our visit.

It’s our responsibility. Let’s leave behind this magnificent temple for our future generation!
