May you be at now…. Look at the beautiful lotus flower, smell the fragrance… Life is beautiful!

May you be at now…. Look at the beautiful lotus flower, smell the fragrance… Life is beautiful!

If you on more apps in the smart phone, it’ll consume more energy.

If you on more program in your laptop, the power will finish fast.

Do you notice that there are thought after thought in your mind?

Imagine if you keep thinking about the past and also the future?

How much energy you are going to use for this unproductive thought?

Do you aware that how much energy is your mind consume as compare to other organ?

Our brain uses more energy than any other human organ, accounting for up to 20 percent of the body’s total haul.

As such, live at now, don’t dwell to the past thought and future thought.

Lost of thought…. Come back to your senses.” This is the profound teaching from Venerable Ayasma Aggacitta

Whenever you are not at present, do come back to your senses, your eyes, nose, ear, tongue and body…

You are definitely at now when you are with your senses.

E.g. When you are smelling the fragrance from flower, you are at now… you can’t sense the fragrance from the past or the future.

Do not waste your mind energy for keep thinking the past & future which is not productive, you can’t change the past and no point to be worry or fearful about future, it’s yet to be happened!

So, next round when you can’t sleep, use this method, focus on your senses, when you are with your senses, your mind not dwelling  on past and future.

Life can be found only in the present moment. The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life.

Take a try!

May you be at present!

  1. In the midst of confusion or anxiety when everything seems to free-fall and break apart, there is only one option left available to reconnect ourselves with the reality of the present moment – awareness of our breathing. Although hard to do it’s great to be able to live fully in the present moment all the time.
