Your need?

We really have to understand the person we want to love. If our love is only a will to possess, it is not love. If we only think of ourselves, if we know only our own needs and ignore the needs of the other person, we cannot love. By Thich Nhat Hanh (Photo courtesy from sis Li Yun)

Have you ever do any spring cleaning in your house?

Sometimes, we might not realize on how much thing actually we’ve bought and store at home?

Sometimes, we might also totally forgot on the items and we kept purchase repeatedly.

Sometimes, we might not able to locate the items if we do not clean up from time to time.

It’s great to do spring cleaning at least once or twice a year.

Do you’ve the same experience?

Let’s say, your wardrobe, the clothes, pant, skirt and others…

For the items which you don’t use for more than 6 months, chances for you to reuse is very slim.

If you don’t wear it, donate to those people who need and appreciate it instead of you keep and continue to cheat yourself that you are going to use it in one day….

What will happen?

The items will be gradually torn and change to yellowish.

Give to people when it’s still NEW.

Don’t cling on it, donate and bring happiness to others…

Don’t think or say: “One day I might need the items… “

Normally, the day will not come and you will throw the item as “RUBBISH”.

The ideal way is REFUSE for impulsive buying. Buy what you NEED, not what you want.

Think before make a new purchase, world resources are depleting.

Please leave behind a better world for next generation.

““Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not every man’s greed.”

  1. I am preparing to move home by reducing my belongings. I am not a materialistic person so I keep material possessions to a minimum. I limit what I buy to what I need.
