“Hear and say”

Vegetarian meal in Malay cooking style, look yummy and yet healthy! Take it try!

Vegetarian meal in Malay cooking style, look yummy and yet healthy! To cultivate a habit will take some time, most important take a first step. Give a try!

I overheard a tele-conversation between my mom and one of my relatives, they were chatting about daily cooking.

My mom: “ I only cook organic vegetarian food at home, quite simple and yet healthy.”

My relative:” Hah, I heard from people, Lack of energy for people who consume vegetarian meal, and no strength from their leg.”

My mom: “ We are so far so good, much more healthier.”

The facts are many of the sport man are vegetarian, namely: Fauja Singh (100 years old, Young Marathon runner and world record holder), Maureen Shea (champion Boxer), Carl Lewis (Olympic Track Star) and more…..

Albert Einstein, the father of relativity, the noble prize-winning genius and he is a vegetarian too. Einstein also believed that as human it was our responsibility to be caretakers and guardians of our planet & everything that lives on it, which is why he famously said the following:

“ Nothing can benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution of vegetarian diet.”

People are simply giving remarks without any reading from facts or good understanding on nutrition, most of their data is based on “hear and say.”

Most important, they’ve no personal experience, they never try and just give a negative remark.

This is really bad, don’t be like a “Parrot”, keep following or repeating what people saying.

People might not able to take a first step to try the  vegetarian meal because of our ignorance wording.

Do not open your mouth if you are unsure.

Silence is the best!

Where ignorance is our master, there is no possibility of real peace.

  1. You have such lovely photos on your blog – very peaceful looking 🙂

I used to be semi-vegetarian and I certainly enjoy a vegetarian meal now and then (especially with my vegetarian friends), but there is in fact a great deal of evidence that suggests it’s not “the best”. Just for example, you might find this article by a former vegan interesting: http://kristensraw.com/blog/2013/03/17/my-vegan-diet-caused-health-problems-would-primal-paleo-or-real-food-be-better/
