No matter what you say to the flowers, it’ll still blossom. Don’t be affect your emotional due to external factors. We can’t control other’s mouth but we CAN CONTROL OUR MIND.  May you be at peace and harmony!

In life, a lot of times we might face some external challenges in human relationship.

People might accuse us for something we are not committed,

People might be superb rude and no manners to us,

People might scolded us for nothing,

People might be thrown their anger to us,

People might be using harsh words to us,

People might use offensive words to us,

People might be too bossy to us,

People might also insult us,

People might be gossip about us…

How do you face all this challenges?

Anger? Frustration? self blame?

hurt? heart-broken? revenge ? sad?

sorrow? unhappy?

disturb mind? ill feeling?

can’t sleep well? can’t eat well?

Have you ever think that people just using their mouth and they can cause so much negative emotion to us?

Who is actually in suffer?

The people who talk about you? or you Yourself?

Why should we be in suffering state?

The below teaching from Buddha, it’s the best action on how to handle the above scenerio….

Once a man came unto me and denounced me on account of my observing the Way and practicing great loving-kindness. But I kept silent and did not answer him. The denunciation ceased.

Then I asked him. ‘If you bring a present to your neighbour and he accepts it not; does the present come back to you?’

He replied, ‘It will.

I said, ‘You denounce me now, but as I accept it not, you must take the wrong deed back on your own person. It is like echo succeeding sound, it is like shadow following object; you never escape the effect of your own evil deeds. Be therefore mindful, and cease from doing evil.

By Buddha

Let go, free yourself and live happily no matter what people saying as long as you are on the right path.

  1. I like the story, it is something to think about, a bucket full of negativity that is rejected when offered stays with the carrier of the bucket.

  2. From a Christian perspective, I see this as turning the other cheek or of offering your undershirt as well as your shirt when confronted. It’s the wisdom of staying disengaged from the dynamic of others’ anger and inner turmoil, until they’re ready to change. Now, to carry it through the entire day, as best we can!

  3. we are the carrier of our own karma.
    nicely said…
for me, if someone do things that you’ve mentioned above, i usually looking back into my self. did i do something to them before?
