Anger

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.
By Buddha

Sometimes, your family members or your friends might share with you….

“I am a very short-tempered person. So, you better don’t make me angry.”

” I am like this one, easily to get angry, I can’t change.”

They admitted and acknowledged that they are easily to get angry but unfortunately they do not have any plan to learn to control their anger.

I heard a story, A very devoted Buddhist lady, she is aware on her short-tempered and easily to get angry but she can’t find a great way to get rid of it.

One day, she shared her problem her master.

The master give a really brilliant idea.

He said:” Please bring along a small mirror with you all the time. Whenever, you are in anger, take out the mirror. Look at yourself thoroughly thru mirror.”

” Can you recognize yourself when you are angry?”

“How ugly is your face?”

“No smile, your body is tense and no radiant on your face.”

Do you know how many of our healthy cell will die once we get angry?

When we are in anger, our blood vessel is tense up, it’s blocked the supply of nutrient and also oxygen.

Ask yourself: “Is it worth?”

You are actually penalizing yourself with other’s fault. Do you think the other party is aware?

Next round, when you are angry, take out your mirror… Look at your face.

If you, yourself also can’t stand the ugly face, how about others?

Love yourself and others, be mindfulness on your anger.

Be silence when you are in anger as the word you say is sharpen than a knife.

It hurt people deeper than any wound.

Anger is negative and it is better not to feel it.
