Happy Chap Goh Mei!

Today is  ”Chap Goh Mei‘, it means the 15th night of Chinese New Year in Hokkien which also marks the end of the Chinese New Year celebration. The first full moon in lunar calendar.

I am happy to share with you on the FGS Dong Zen temple Lantern and flora festival, the night scenery with beautiful, colorful lantern display.

It really great to see so many people bringing their family to spend time in the flora & lantern festival. A beautiful and touching view that 3 generations get together, Grand parent, son/daughter plus grandso/ granddaughter. What is more important than reunion of family and also practice on filial piety.

Gratitude to all volunteers who contribute their effort in this festival, giving us the opportunity to visit with happy, joy and peace.

Let’s remind ourselves again and again…..

“Do good deeds, Say good words, Think good thoughts.”

May all beings attain happiness and peace in Chap Goh Mei.
